I agree 100% with the previous reviewer JMBAU so I won't repeat the points. You have myriad choices of noise-cancelling headphones - brands, specifications, features and price-points. But these are "in-ear" phones with no rivals because the technology is proprietary to Bose - for the moment. Hence, for the moment you pay big time for the privilege (RRP $399.00). Clearly a class of its own because Bose created that class. Also, I use it to drown out airplane noise (without listening to music) so that I can listen clearly and attentively to the flight attendant's all important and captivating safety instructions. How sad!
Very good trick. Considerably better than its big brother the QC 25, which is a little loose on the head and fail to shield the sounds from the environment. Different sizes of earbuds comes with so it is easy to find a good fit. Small, comes with a small and comfortable sleeve that fits everywhere.
The set also features except call and volume buttons, even a quick break up of the noise reduction to hear surroundings.
Unbeatable Deals with rowdy and noisy passengers. One can either choose to lyssma on what you want or just start noise reduction and enjoy the silence.
Sound Qualitatively, they are totally ok, not the best I've listened to. Unlike other bose headphones with noise isolation so you can listen to them when b.red is off. The quality of the listening experience I worse than when the noise reduction is turned off. The noise reduction works very well. It is comparable to the hit cap for ears and the (un) sound disappears, but it is of course not completely silent. On the plane disappears much of the engine noise. Very low-frequency sound can be muffled through, like shrill voices (think 15 year olds). On buses will hear the sound when doors slamming, but there may also be iofs vibrations. The dongle that is both battery and power switch is thin and fits easily in your pocket. Something I was not used to was that the earbuds do not put in straight in from the sides, but obliquely from behind into the ear. They are certainly not uncomfortable but I've not had those headphones before. They left the same time expensive, I gave in 2600 but it's on the other hand bose and noise reduction works very well.
+ Pretty good ljudcancellering
+ Sits well in the ears and are easy to deploy
+ Good battery life
- Incredibly messy with the "small" battery pack, you must unfold into your pocket with your phone
- As soon as the battery is dead, they are unusable, then the sound reminiscent of lurking in the 199-kronorsklassen
- That these tricks do not have automatic shut-off is a mystery
- The sound is pretty mediocre for the price of these, moreover, the volume too low, which means that you will never get anything substantial pressure in them.
The conclusion is that this is quite ok lurk for those who commute and want some peace and quiet, but most of you who might listen more to various podcasts, and not music. Compare these with a pair of Klipsch X10i (RIP), which is a much more capable handset, in addition to a cheaper price.
Fantastic comfortable handsfree headset. Put in your ear for 10 hours without discomfort on the first trip. Stood in the choice between these and QC3 but the comfortable earbuds made the choice became easy. Big difference to travel with them to advance (sleep better). Just press the 'listen through' on the cord when the flight attendant comes and you can place your orders. The set also features even volume, microphone and start / stop buttons and a fastening clip. Works much better than on-ear trick when to sleep and lean against the pillow as in-ear always close tightly, which is a requirement for noise reduction to be effective. Do you just sleep without music or movies, so they work as active earplugs. The battery pack (15 hours), you can still listen without noise reduction. Charging via micro USB, giving you many choices eg USB port on your computer. Perceive the sound as well without having tried a few competitors. One can hear the noise from the audio process to obtain which can be disruptive at highly dynamic material. I turn off the electronics removes this noise but also changes the sound. The battery is sealed into the control unit which leads me to the idea how this should be replaced after capacity has been exhausted? Can not see any screws or fasteners. Comes with a convenient carrying case and three different shell sizes. Bad it does not come with an airplane adapter (2-1, 3.5 mm) in contrast to some competitors. The cord is a little too stiff and thick, I think, but is probably due that there are more leaders to be developed for noise reduction. All in all, super happy with the sound and features and will always be a natural friend to all types of trips. Was a little hesitant about the high price but worth every penny.
I can't do without these earphones and wear them everywhere. Noise cancelling is really good - particularly for the size and saves having to carry around a big case when travelling. My only gripe is that after regular use the cord has shown a bit of wear with some exposed wiring but I guess this is to be expected after over a year of very regular use.
As good sound if QC 25, these have been in summer when it is too hot and have hoods!
Worth every penny!
These are super even significantly better noise reduction than QC 15 and QC 25
Fantastic with noise canceling in-ear headphones, because I did not want the big kids to carry around all the time. Smooth case for the headphones included. Silicone inserts are very comfortable and much more comfortable in the long run than traditional in-ear headphones.
The sound quality is lowered considerably when Noise Cancelling is turned off, which is the only minus I can think of except the juicy price.
Outstanding little headphones. Sound quality is good, but the real attraction is the outstanding comfort and noise cancelling abilities. Can't believe how I flew without these, They have completely transformed air travel for me, the noise reduction is outstanding. Nothing like arriving fresh and relaxed after a flight, I didn't realise how much of an impact the aircraft noise was having until i tried these.
Only negative would be that the replacement parts from BOSE, in my case I lost the pouch to store everything, are very very expensive. They wanted $32.84 and $5.00 deliver to replace the $2 item. Canadians can get them delivered free for less than half that. Aussie tax...
