They chose this as my previous Linksys router after about 7 years of use felt a little rubbery.
Sitting on a 100/10 line and now has somewhere between 15 and 20 units connected constant through both cable and wifi.
The router is terrible stable, have not had to reboot once so far, have had the router for about 2 months and it runs pretty hard with both streaming from Netflix and from an internal server with HD movies to Boxee which I use as a playback device.
Do you want a hassle free connectivity - buy.
I bought this to replace a dammal dlink which started to become unstable and hoping for better reach.
This was rather good at both.
And the interface is so nerdummat it impossible to find anything.
However, it ältt to set its own name and icon for different devices in the router status page. Good priority ...
it's not just me who has problems either. See for example this one: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-reviews/32325-ac1900-router-wireless-retest Cod against both Netgear and Asus.
Updated: No, it is even lower. Zero rating would have been reasonable. It deals with port-forwards as "recommendations" and sometimes tend to let go of what you have set in the router for the benefit of UPnP. Kalas error and a security flaw of epic proportions!
