Had it for 7 months now and it is without doubt my best phone so far. Cruel quality feel and gorgeous screen.
Have had the iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, but this jacket all of them.
Aside from that, I think Android is a messy incoherent wrongly dimensioned operating this review will be about the handset.
As a first impression I hang me up on the display cover that is attached to the back of the shell. You can change which is lucky for it makes the device can not be operated with one hand. Plasticky, way too big and ogreppvänlig.
For me it's illogical why some engineer decided to swap back and menu touch buttons like any other android kids have. That they are located so close to the bottom may be an appearance of profit but is a practical detail a pure madness. I am accessing buttons matter how I hold the phone. Which gives me that "Ops what I came to your" experience and no wow effect. Everything I write is lost, the menu pops up and the application shuts down. Someone defends it with the android users are running the little finger grip. It does not work when I am lying in bed and suddenly fall on the head. The narrow edges makes even me by accident comes at the screen all the time. I really find no practical talents with the phone. It looks good, but I'll try to use it too.
The home screen does not support panoramic frontal backgrounds which makes the home screen is the first thing I replace. The menus can not I get away from it where högkontrastutseendet we have in Windows for the visually impaired. White text on a black background may be good for the battery but atrociously for läsögonen. Have seen android versions running light theme Holo light so why can not you choose it?
65% of RAM is spent to run the phone with a modest amount standardappar standby. Despite boasting about battery must be recharged within 24 hours of normal use.
The camera is superb. Takes great pictures and I like the burst feature. LED light is very strong.
Voice quality is good but in many conversations, I feel that the person in the handset is lost in silence. The speaker is something skrålig with sharp treble.
The unit is way too big and bulky for one-hand maneuver it with my normal long fingers. I always have to ask from me bag / cart / whatever if I will use the device.
The screen is good, but reflects a somewhat unnatural light blue white balance sometimes. It is set to super contrasts which may be a pressure standard in Asia but I'll be happy of it a somewhat mild European colder contrast mode. It renders colors naturally but makes it impossible to see things on the screen in bright sunlight which retina screens capable of comfortably.
After 1.5 week's marathon of swearing and blood pressure, I give up. I do not like it. I do I stop the SIM card into the girl's old iPhone. Suddenly I feel relief and appreciation for the simplicity and grip kindness in a standard Apple handset. There may be software-related benefits of an Android phone if you know what you are doing. But this Samsung device has no practical advantages at all. No software can weigh it up. How the engineers thought that the device would be superior to competitors' phones is beyond me.
Bought it because it has EVERYTHING I need.
Good sound chip
Just in size
Ok battery life (going to buy other batteries with much better, but by compromising the thickness of the phone, peeking ebay / amazon)
Everything is very easy to navigate (Android). My first smarthphone, however, tested many others. Weighed between this and others in a similar price range.
Savic. Tip is to buy a skin that allows it to not slip off of the hand.
This is the best phone available for purchase right now.
Unfortunately, Android and apps for Android is not nearly as stable as iOS and appstore apps. The cell phone can sometimes be tough and it is not moving on as good as on the iPhone, the apps crash even very often and do not work as they should.
A cross between the Samsung Galaxy S3 and iOS + appstore had been 10/10!
The operating system & apps: 6/10
Final Score: 8/10
With 2 GB of RAM and HDMI-out had it been perfect.
Galaxy S3 will not update the background.
That is, no widgets, clocks or calendars updated and many tools do not work at all. Several applications have the same problem. All of these programs / apps / widget works perfectly on the Galaxy Nexus, so the apps itself is nothing wrong.
Otherwise a good phone that has EVERYTHING!
The back is very slippery though, so use with one hand is not recommended as it is large enough.
That it did not update properly is not acceptable.
Replaced my old Sony Ericsson. Great phone. Quick, clear and responsive.
Have had the S3 for 6 weeks now and I'm extremely happy!
Upgraded from S1-ball and it was such a difference
Here is a selection of my impressions:
¤ The GPS is very accurate and it finds satellites very fast.
¤ The camera takes nice pictures cannon and it is extremely fast with. The moment you click and you have taken the picture.
¤ The screen is incredibly sharp, anyone who has seen the phone has commented on how good the screen is.
¤ Because it is so thin it feels barely when you have it in your pocket. My old S1: a felt much more.
¤ Due to the rounded edges so the phone can be a bit slippery in the hand. Therefore I highly recommend that you buy a shell. I can advise on Rock Quicksand shell, found on eBay for under 100kr it is very slim and stylish
¤ Smart-stay actually works better than I expected and is a smart feature.
¤ That it is MicroSIM, you do not see as something negative, as some do. It took me 1 minute to get a new free MicroSIM card in hand when I went to the nearest 3 store. Other operators can certainly offer the same thing.
Overall I'm very pleased and can not find any flaws with this phone.
