Now I do not know anymore how long I had this box. Could it be three years? Anyway it still works, and has for example followed on almost all trips to enhance rather coarse WiFi conditions in hotels. Except for a few months so this router has been used around the clock in these years.
For a while, after barely a year of continuous use, sometimes malfunctioned connection between the radio network and the box's ethernet cable. It continued to function in its role as a wifi repeater. Now it's a long time since it happened. Maybe a new firmware helped? Perhaps the explanation is different.
Price / performance ratio is very beneficial.
The range is good - infinitely better than our Netgear router. And almost as good as our Belkin routers Range (Belkin N + F5D8235ed4). But the Belkin router cost twice as much and no other arts than being ordinary WiFi router. And this transmission range can be improved, since the antennas are removable. That's a plus!
To get the installation just as I had imagined, it took a lot of time with trial-and-error. The manual is not crystal clear. ... Or is it my own insights into the LAN building that is substandard.
An important parameter is on the WDS should be enabled or disabled.
If you choose the "Repeater" instead of "Universal Repeater" so you get the WDS.

Have had this in about 1.5 years, but soon goes on out. Suddenly Wifi very slow in one part of the house where it sits and you have to reconfigure it to get up to speed again. Using it as an access point. The advantage is that it is cheap and when it works it makes their job.
Have to lower my rating thoroughly. I have had the previous model of the access point (black with a little more old school look). Bought now a third of this model and was therefore one that looks like the picture here (white with some mosaic pattern on it). It is downright hopeless. Right as it is, it works simply do not. It has good reception and connection to AP'n, but the rest of the network (via wire) so it seems so still. Yikes.
